From building people to building apps.

I’m Don O’Neal, founder of Ironframe Studio, based in Houston, Texas.

Before I built apps, I coached people. My work was about mental toughness: showing up, staying disciplined and finishing what you start, especially when it gets hard. I learned that lasting results come from a strong foundation, not shortcuts.

Software turned out to work the same way. An app that looks good but breaks under pressure isn’t worth much. So every app we build gets a strong frame underneath: thoughtful design, careful engineering and real respect for the people who’ll use it. That’s where the name comes from.

Today I design and build mobile apps with React Native and Expo, and I bring the same discipline to every project: a clear plan, steady progress and finishing strong.

Our first app is a private notes app with an encrypted vault. It’s the kind of product we like to build: useful every day, careful with people’s data, and built to last.
