Ironleaf Terms of Use
Effective date: November 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Ironleaf app, made by Ironframe Studio (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Ironleaf you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Your license
We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Ironleaf on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you got it from. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
If you downloaded Ironleaf from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its support.
2. Your content
Your notes, files and recordings are yours. They’re stored on your device, and we don’t have access to them. You’re responsible for what you store and share with the app, and for using it lawfully.
3. Ironleaf Pro subscriptions
- What it is: Ironleaf Pro unlocks extra features, such as unlimited secure space, decoy space, panic switch, break-in alerts, encrypted backups, lock tags, themes and app icons. The current list and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing: Pro is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple account when you confirm the purchase (or when a free trial ends).
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trial: if a free trial is offered (for example 7 days on the yearly plan), you won’t be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Each account can use a trial once.
- Cancelling: manage or cancel any time in your Google Play or Apple account’s subscription settings (Ironleaf’s Settings has a shortcut). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds: refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their policies.
- If Pro ends: nothing you’ve stored is locked away. You can still open and export everything; only adding beyond the free limits and using Pro-only features stop.
4. Keys, PINs and passwords
Ironleaf protects secure space with your PIN and recovery code, and backups with your backup password. We never receive these, so we can’t recover them. If you lose your PIN and your recovery code, or a backup’s password, that content can’t be opened by anyone, including us. Keep your recovery code and backup passwords somewhere safe.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Ironleaf to break the law or to harm others, and don’t try to interfere with the app or the stores’ purchase systems.
6. No warranty
Ironleaf is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable and secure, but we can’t promise it will be error-free or that data can never be lost (for example if a device is lost, damaged or reset). Keep encrypted backups of anything important.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ironframe Studio isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Ironleaf. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Ironleaf in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we’ll update the effective date and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Ironleaf after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
